Job Description
A Document Production Specialist responsible for preparing, formatting, proofreading, and developing technical reports and accessible documents, as well as supporting project planning, office management, and staff support tasks in a fast-paced research and consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing technical reports in Microsoft Word, including formatting, proofreading, and developing complex tables and graphics.
- Create accessible documents compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Maintain organized files and tracking spreadsheets for project management.
- Develop and update project planning tools such as action item trackers, calendars, and flow charts.
- Support office management, staff coordination, and event planning tasks.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports in Microsoft Word, including formatting and proofreading.
- Develop and import complex tables and insert figures and other graphics into documents.
- Develop accessible documents that comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Maintain organized files and tracking spreadsheets.
- Develop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, and flow charts.
