A Document Production Specialist responsible for preparing, formatting, proofreading, and developing technical reports and accessible documents, as well as supporting project planning, office management, and staff support tasks in a fast-paced research and consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing technical reports in Microsoft Word, including formatting, proofreading, and developing complex tables and graphics.
Create accessible documents compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Maintain organized files and tracking spreadsheets for project management.
Develop and update project planning tools such as action item trackers, calendars, and flow charts.
Support office management, staff coordination, and event planning tasks.
Requirements
The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with the preparation of technical reports in Microsoft Word, including formatting and proofreading.
Develop and import complex tables and insert figures and other graphics into documents.
Develop accessible documents that comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Maintain organized files and tracking spreadsheets.
Develop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, and flow charts.
