Job Description
The Authorization and Accreditation Lead is responsible for managing the security authorization lifecycle of government systems, ensuring compliance with security frameworks like RMF, developing accreditation artifacts, and collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security measures throughout system operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) lifecycle for critical programs.
- Develop and maintain accreditation artifacts to demonstrate security compliance.
- Oversee continuous monitoring of security postures and vulnerabilities.
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into system operations.
- Apply expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and agency-specific security processes.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and agency-specific security processes.
- Experience managing the Authorization and Accreditation lifecycle for government systems.
- Ability to serve as the primary cybersecurity liaison for critical Sponsor programs.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining accreditation artifacts.
- Experience overseeing continuous monitoring of security systems.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate security into every phase of system operation.
