Job Description

The role involves designing and developing scalable, data-intensive frontend or full-stack applications to support the transformation of the power sector, enabling automation and human decision-making within a complex energy ecosystem. The engineer will collaborate across teams to create innovative software solutions that advance clean energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in critical frontend architecture decisions and strategic initiatives.
Design and develop scalable, data-intensive frontend applications with complex UI requirements.
Translate intricate domain requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences.
Implement frontend strategies for visualizing and interacting with large, complex datasets.
Utilize AI-augmented software engineering tools and frameworks in development processes.

Requirements

A commitment to clean energy and combating climate change.
Experience with frontend full-stack engineering, ideally at scale, including development and ownership of complex, data-intensive applications, and large-scale Typescript React codebases.
Collaboration-driven mentality work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences.
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing frontend strategies for effectively consuming, visualizing, and interacting with large, complex datasets, including understanding the underlying data models and APIs.
Proficient in AI-augmented software engineering, e.g., Gen AI and LLMs, agentic tools, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
Good understanding of security best practices, with bonus points if in an enterprise environment.
Deep expertise with modern testing strategies for frontend applications, including unit, functional, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
