Job Description
A Full Stack Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces for EnergyHub's electric vehicle platform, focusing on data integration, security, and scalable vehicle interactions to support the company's smart energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services of the EV platform ensuring seamless integration.
- Integrate third-party APIs to enhance external services and OEM partnerships.
- Manage ingestion and storage of large-scale multivariate data sets from connected vehicles.
- Build and improve data lakes for data analysis and service support.
- Develop services for interacting with connected vehicles at scale.
- Create and maintain front-end web applications for various products and services.
- Implement security and data protection policies, procedures, and monitoring.
- Design, develop, and maintain third-party accessible APIs for data ingestion and egress.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5 years professional software engineering experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized team, with a proven exceptional ability as a FullStack engineer or similar role.
- Strong comfortability with Kotlin Java and familiarity with web services and RESTful APIs using Spring.
- Expertise in API ingestion and data normalization processes.
- Experience with front end languages, such as React Typescript.
- Experience with containerized systems.
- Knowledge of modern security best practices, authentication authorization frameworks, and system API hardening.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 USD
