Job Description

The Senior Manager of Sales Engineering at EnergyHub leads a team responsible for designing and implementing scalable energy platform solutions for utility clients, working at the intersection of client needs, product development, and market demands to support a clean, distributed energy future.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client discovery, workshops, and solution development to meet utility needs
Document requirements and convey them to internal teams
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and clients
Develop and execute team development plans to evolve sales engineering capabilities
Create scalable, interoperable energy platform solutions for utility clients
Develop business cases advocating for new solutions based on market needs

Requirements

Experience managing and developing high performing teams.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable, interoperable energy platform solutions for the electric utility clients.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
8-12 years of experience in solutions sales engineering, software engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to influence leaders and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Familiarity with systems integrations such as customer information systems, utility software platforms, and API integrations.
Experience in the energy industry.
Ability to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events.

Compensation/salary range: $145,000 - $165,000 USD
