Job Description
The Senior Manager of Sales Engineering at EnergyHub leads a team responsible for designing and implementing scalable energy platform solutions for utility clients, working at the intersection of client needs, product development, and market demands to support a clean, distributed energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery, workshops, and solution development to meet utility needs
- Document requirements and convey them to internal teams
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and clients
- Develop and execute team development plans to evolve sales engineering capabilities
- Create scalable, interoperable energy platform solutions for utility clients
- Develop business cases advocating for new solutions based on market needs
Requirements
- Experience managing and developing high performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, interoperable energy platform solutions for the electric utility clients.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8-12 years of experience in solutions sales engineering, software engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to influence leaders and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with systems integrations such as customer information systems, utility software platforms, and API integrations.
- Experience in the energy industry.
- Ability to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events.

Compensation/salary range: $145,000 - $165,000 USD
