Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer at EnergyHub's Kapacity.io team is responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions to optimize energy demand, contributing to high-impact projects in the energy and climate tech sector, and leading technical discussions to improve development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable software for Kapacity.io's optimization products
- Take ownership of technical quality and design decisions
- Lead technical discussions and improve development processes
- Translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps
Requirements
- You bring 5 years of experience delivering complex, production-quality software systems.
- You possess deep expertise in Go language or Python, Docker, and AWS.
- You have strong command of Relational Databases PostgreSQL and time-series data.
- You thrive in ambiguous environments and excel at structuring vague challenges into clear technical solutions.
- You have an interest in energy, buildings, and climate tech.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You have the ability to work weekly at our office in Helsinki.

Salary range of 5,500 to 6,500 EUR gross per month
