Job Description
The Inventory Manager oversees material management activities supporting energy storage systems and demonstration units at a construction site, ensuring accurate inventory control, material integrity, and availability while adapting to project changes and supporting innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee material management activities supporting the Battery Energy Storage System and Customer Demonstration Unit
- Ensure accurate inventory control of materials, supplies, parts, and specialized equipment
- Adjust inventory and material management practices in response to project scope changes
- Maintain material integrity and availability to support innovation and rapid iteration
- Attend daily onsite at an active construction site and manage outdoor work conditions
Requirements
- Must have experience in overseeing all material management activities supporting Battery Energy Storage Systems and Customer Demonstration Units, including ensuring accurate inventory control of materials, supplies, parts, and specialized equipment.
- Must be able to adjust to frequent changes in project scope and act as a bridge between a variety of operational disciplines.
- Must ensure material integrity and availability while supporting innovation and rapid iteration.
- Must have the ability to work daily onsite at an active construction site, including working in a mobile construction trailer and outdoors.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold weather.
- Must be available to work the typical hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, five days per week, with the possibility of working on Saturday and/or Sunday.
