Job Description
The Inventory Manager oversees material management activities supporting energy storage systems and demonstration units at a construction site, ensuring accurate inventory control, material integrity, and availability while adapting to project changes and working onsite daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all material management activities supporting the Battery Energy Storage System and Customer Demonstration Unit
- Ensure accurate inventory control of materials, supplies, parts, and specialized equipment
- Adjust inventory and material management processes in response to project scope changes
- Act as a liaison between operational disciplines to support material availability and integrity
- Maintain material integrity and availability to support innovation and rapid project iteration
- Attend daily onsite at an active construction site and manage outdoor work conditions
Requirements
- Experience in overseeing all material management activities that support energy storage systems and related projects, including inventory control of materials, supplies, parts, and specialized equipment.
- Ability to adjust to frequent changes in project scope and act as a bridge between a variety of operational disciplines.
- Must have daily onsite attendance at an active construction site, with an office in a mobile construction trailer.
- Ability to perform outdoor work at times, including in inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold weather.
