Job Description
The Construction Manager APAC is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of energy storage system projects, managing cross-functional teams and external partners on-site to ensure successful project delivery within a specified contract duration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the performance of Energy Vault Energy Storage System projects on-site.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as external consultants, service providers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Document and develop scalable processes, technology, and products for project execution.
- Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience as a Construction Manager with a proven track record in managing and optimizing performance of energy storage system projects.
- Ability to collaborate and manage engineering, procurement, and construction execution team members, as well as outside consultants, service providers, vendors, and suppliers, to deliver projects.
- Experience in documenting and building scalable processes, technology, and products related to construction projects.
- Availability to spend most of the working hours, Monday through Friday, on the construction site in Horsham, VIC.
- Experience managing construction projects with durations ranging from 6 to 24 months.
- Contractual availability for a 20-month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Physical ability to work on a construction site for the duration of the project.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems or similar infrastructure projects is preferred but not explicitly stated as mandatory.
