The Senior Project Manager - Consumer Protection Compliance at Energy Solutions oversees compliance and consumer protection efforts for solar incentive programs, investigates violations, manages client relationships, and supports the clean energy transition through program administration and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate alleged violations of Illinois Shines program requirements
Make recommendations for informal mediation and disciplinary actions for program violations
Draft and edit letters and correspondence related to violations and disciplinary actions
Ensure compliance with internal processes for disciplinary actions and identify process improvements
Identify trends in consumer complaints and program violations, and recommend proactive measures
Monitor corrective actions and compliance plans for entities violating program requirements
Maintain client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
Organize and lead meetings, conference calls, and collaboration sessions with clients and stakeholders
Track deliverables, milestones, and follow up to ensure completion of action items
Track key performance metrics and participate in cross-department meetings
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in compliance, consumer protection, legal paralegal, regulatory, auditing, and/or quality control is required.
Strong written communication skills including editing and reviewing team members' work are required.
Ability to train staff on professional writing is required.
Exceptional attention to detail in written deliverables is required.
Ability to interact professionally with clients and serve as the primary point of client contact is required.
Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation, are required.
Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365), SharePoint, and OneNote is required.
Experience with Salesforce is required.

Ability to identify, draft, and train team members on new procedures for disciplinary-related process improvements is required.
Ability to monitor trends in consumer complaints and program violations, and recommend proactive measures to promote program compliance and reduce violations is required.
Ability to monitor corrective actions and compliance plans for entities confirmed to have violated program requirements is required.
Ability to maintain client relationships and serve as a trusted partner for current and new clients is required.
Ability to organize and lead in-person meetings, conference calls, and collaboration sessions with clients, program participants, and customers is required.
Ability to track deliverables, milestones, and follow up with stakeholders and team members to ensure completion of action items is required.
Ability to track key performance metrics and goals, and report progress is required.
Ability to participate in and lead cross-department meetings, prioritize and delegate follow-up items, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment is required.

Salary range of $92,000 to $125,000 annually, with a target of $106,250 based on experience and qualifications
