Job Description
Assist with processing applications and driving customer participation in solar energy programs, supporting the adoption of distributed and community solar projects to help advance a decarbonized energy grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Process complex project applications according to standard operating procedures
- Track progress of work assignments and update status
- Communicate professionally in writing with customers regarding applications
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve application questions
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy under time constraints
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance program knowledge
Requirements
- Assist with processing complex project applications according to documented standard operating procedures.
- Track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed.
- Provide professional written communication to customers who have submitted applications.
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors using collaboration tools to resolve application questions.
- Maintain a high degree of efficiency and accuracy while under time constraints.
- Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or have a minimum of 2 years of work experience or tenure in related positions in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Possess strong written communication skills and strong verbal skills (verbal skills are a plus).
- Be computer literate with experience in MS Office Suite.
- Be willing to work in a hybrid work environment from the office in Chicago, IL, with a minimum of once a week in-office attendance.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely and willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with a target of $66,500 based on experience and qualifications
Hybrid work environment with in-office presence at least once a week in Chicago, IL
