A Project Manager role focused on overseeing energy efficiency projects, managing budgets and timelines, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and supporting the development of large-scale energy and water savings solutions for utility and government clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks to ensure successful completion
Oversee the quality control and delivery of project deliverables
Facilitate communication of project progress to management and clients
Coordinate with customers, clients, and external collaborators
Conduct market research, data analysis, and track industry trends impacting energy efficiency
Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and conference calls
Conduct outreach to industry stakeholders
Manage subcontractors, including invoicing
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree preferably in an energy-related or policy-related discipline, including environmental science, electrical or mechanical engineering, public policy or economics degrees
A minimum of two years of work-related experience; candidates with at least four years of work-related experience in lieu of a degree are also acceptable
Technical experience in the field of HVAC, water heating, envelope, industrial processes, electric vehicles, demand response, distributed generation, lighting, water efficiency, and related technology solutions is preferred
Experience with energy codes and appliance standards and or specification development is preferred
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Familiarity with task management software such as Monday.com
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work and thrive independently
Willingness to conduct occasional business travel
Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks with minimal oversight
Experience in technical project management, stakeholder collaborative facilitation, and on-the-job learning
Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis

Salary range of $69,000 to $79,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
