A Project Manager role focused on overseeing energy efficiency projects, managing stakeholder collaboration, and supporting the development and implementation of market-based energy solutions for utility, government, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks to ensure successful completion
Coordinate and facilitate multiple projects from initiation to conclusion
Communicate project progress to management and clients
Interact with customers, clients, and external stakeholders
Conduct market research and data analysis related to energy efficiency
Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and conference calls
Conduct outreach to industry stakeholders
Manage subcontractors, including invoicing and performance oversight
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree preferably in an energy-related or policy-related discipline, including environmental science, electrical or mechanical engineering, public policy or economics degrees.
A minimum of two years of work-related experience; candidates with at least four years of work-related experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
Technical experience in the field of HVAC, water heating, envelope, industrial processes, electric vehicles, demand response, distributed generation, lighting, water efficiency, and related technology solutions is preferred.
Experience with energy codes and appliance standards and/or specification development is preferred.
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Familiarity with task management software such as Monday.com.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work and thrive independently.
Willingness to conduct occasional business travel.
Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks with minimal oversight.
