Job Description
The ERP Project Manager will oversee and configure ERP projects related to financial operations, ensuring accurate setup, modifications, and compliance within a primarily remote team environment. The role involves coordinating with various departments to support project execution and financial reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, amend, and configure ERP projects based on contractual documents and notes
- Update labor categories, bill rates, and assign staff to projects in the ERP system
- Add tasks and subtasks to projects ensuring correct billing types
- Respond to project finance-related inquiries via company channels
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of timesheets and run ERP analytics reports
- Review, update, and create ERP SharePoint documents for finance department use
- Audit project configurations for completeness and accuracy
- Support project managers in completing setup checklists and making project modifications
- Assist invoicing team with bill rate reviews and project modifications
- Investigate and resolve labor category discrepancies and GL account changes
- Answer finance-related questions regarding PTO balances, expense reports, and other financial data
Requirements
- Proficient and experienced in setting up Time and Material and Fixed Price projects in Unanet or Workday ERP systems, including making changes per amendments and translating contract requirements to project configurations.
- At least 4 years of experience working in finance, operations, or systems, with a demonstrated understanding of accounting and financial reports.
- Bachelor’s degree with an accounting, finance, or business focus.
- Experience updating labor categories and bill rates in projects, and assigning staff to projects in accordance with contractual labor categories.
- Ability to set up and amend projects based on Contract Managers' summary notes and contractual documents, including adding tasks and subtasks with correct billing types.
- Experience making project modifications, including processing requests, updating GL accounts, and investigating labor category discrepancies as referred from project managers and billing departments.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience collaborating directly with staff such as contracts managers, project managers, and end users.
- Experience manipulating data in spreadsheets, CSV, or other file formats.
- Ability to respond to finance-related questions regarding PTO balances, expense report statuses, and other financial inquiries.
- Experience with managing or implementing ERP or accounting systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Unanet Financial or Workday Financial, Project, and Project Accounting Reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong research and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a predominantly remote environment with flexibility to attend in-office as required within 40 miles of an office location (excluding New York).

Salary range of 70,000 - 85,000 with a target of 80,750 based on experience and qualifications
