Job Description
The Senior Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software products for clients, contributing to the company's software quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications
- Execute automated tests to identify bugs and issues in software products
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer with a focus on automation testing in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing processes.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages relevant to automation testing, such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in testing scenarios.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing or a related role.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
