Job Description
A Program Portfolio Manager responsible for overseeing software development projects in the pharmaceutical and biopharma automation sector, with a focus on streamlining workflows and supporting critical research and manufacturing processes in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the program portfolio related to biopharma process automation projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic goals.
- Work onsite in Gottingen once a week to facilitate project management activities.
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Gottingen, Germany, 1 day per week
- Experience in managing program portfolios within the pharmaceutical or laboratory equipment industry
- Proven experience in developing and managing software solutions for biopharma process automation, including drug and vaccine manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to support the transition from development to large-scale production through software applications
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with pharmaceutical researchers, laboratory professionals, and cross-functional teams
- Educational background relevant to project or program management, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields (specific degree requirements not explicitly stated but implied)
