Job Description
This role involves conducting advanced research on Android vulnerabilities to improve cybersecurity resilience against mobile threats for national and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research on Android vulnerabilities
- Identify and analyze security flaws in Android applications and systems
- Develop strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Android vulnerability research, including identifying and analyzing security flaws in Android operating systems and applications.
- Proven track record of conducting advanced security assessments and penetration testing on Android devices and applications.
- Deep understanding of mobile cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies specific to Android platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Android architecture, including the Android OS, kernel, and security mechanisms.
- Experience with reverse engineering Android applications and firmware to identify vulnerabilities.
- Ability to develop and implement exploits and proof-of-concept attacks to demonstrate security weaknesses in Android systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on Android security research.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues independently.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with a team of cybersecurity experts.
