Job Description
A Market Research and Financial and Energy Modeling Intern will support the development of go-to-market strategies and commercial offerings for electrifying industrial heat using renewable energy technology, working closely with leadership to shape the future of sustainable industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to support go-to-market strategies for renewable energy technology.
- Develop financial and energy models to evaluate the commercial viability of the Joule Hive thermal batteries.
- Assist in creating a commercial strategy and value proposition for deploying thermal batteries in industrial settings.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a university or college program related to market research, finance, energy modeling, or a related field.
- Ability to develop and contribute to Go-to-Market strategies and commercial offerings for renewable energy technology applications.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in creating commercial strategies and value propositions for energy or industrial technologies.
- Ability to work directly with leadership, including reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, and contribute to shaping the future of renewable energy technology.
- Strong analytical skills to perform financial and energy modeling relevant to industrial heat decarbonization projects.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team and present findings effectively.
- Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment, executing through uncertainty and moving toward the problem.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, and contribute to a team that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
