An Electrical Engineering Intern role focused on supporting the scaling of a renewable energy thermal battery system, providing hands-on experience in electrical design and development for a cutting-edge energy storage technology project.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in scaling up the 1 MW demonstration system to a 5 MW capacity.
Support electrical engineering tasks related to renewable energy technology.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test electrical components and systems.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an electrical engineering program or related field.
Ability to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy technology.
Willingness to report to the Lead Electrical Engineer and work as part of an engineering team.
Demonstrated interest or experience in electrical systems related to energy storage or high-temperature heat systems is preferred but not explicitly required.
Ability to work in a startup environment that values executing through uncertainty and moving toward the problem.
Ability to adhere to processes and safety protocols as part of the engineering team.
