Job Description
A Senior Consultant at E3 works on energy and climate policy projects, providing analysis, research, and strategic recommendations to clients in the energy sector. The role involves leading workstreams, preparing reports, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to high-impact initiatives focused on clean energy transition and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and lead client-facing interactions to identify project approaches and methods
- Direct workstreams within projects and contribute to written reports and papers
- Deliver findings and summaries to customers through presentations and Q&A sessions
- Perform investigative tasks, quality assurance, and control of project products
- Become a technical lead on project needs and flagship modeling tools
Requirements
- Prior experience specifically addressing energy and climate change issues
- Significant project management experience
- Strong analytical dexterity or policy experience related to energy and climate issues
- Ability to examine, research, and offer creative solutions to complex energy issues
- Proactive approach to assist the team and seek answers to questions
- Experience in clearly presenting information to a variety of stakeholders
- Attention to detail and organizational techniques to create and actualize work plans that are efficient and provide guidance to serve customers
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, helping each member to do their finest work
- Experience translating technical concepts to a broader audience
- Ownership of work and enjoyment in finding creative solutions to issues encountered
- Full-time employment status (hours and type: exempt)
- Availability to work in a hybrid and flexible work environment, including extended hours in front of a computer and conducting meetings virtually or on the telephone
