Job Description
The Consultant role involves supporting and leading projects related to energy policy, climate change, and clean energy solutions, including research, analysis, client interactions, and report writing, with opportunities for technical leadership and specialization in areas like electrification and system planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and lead client-facing interactions and identify project approaches and methods
- Direct workstreams within projects and contribute to written reports and papers
- Deliver findings and summaries to customers through presentations and Q&A sessions
- Perform investigative tasks, quality assurance, and control of project products
- Become a technical lead on project needs and flagship modeling tools
Requirements
- Prior experience specifically addressing energy and climate change issues
- Significant project management experience
- Ability to work full-time in an exempt employment status
- Must be able to work in a hybrid and flexible work environment that includes office-based work and virtual meetings
- Must be able to work for extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Ability to conduct meetings on the telephone and virtually
- Willingness to travel between 0-10% as required for project needs
