Job Description
A consulting internship at E3 Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. offers students the opportunity to work on emerging energy topics in a professional environment, contributing to active projects and developing research deliverables in areas such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on emerging energy topics alongside E3 staff of industry experts
- Contribute to active E3 projects with research and analysis
- Develop research deliverables for future research, publications, and applications
Requirements
- Candidates must be top students graduating within the year of application, with a minimum commitment of 8-12 weeks in a full-time capacity.
- Candidates must have a background in science and engineering, economics, business, public policy, or related disciplines.
- Candidates must submit a resume, a writing sample, the name, position, phone, and email of at least one faculty reference, and a completed set of interview questions.
- Candidates must be able to work during E3's regular business hours, which are 9 am to 6 pm, and be available to work at least 3 days per week from the office.
- Candidates must be able to work for extended hours in front of a computer screen and conduct meetings on the telephone and virtually.
- Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid and flexible work environment, including office-based work and remote work as needed.
- Candidates must be able to participate in a virtual interview process, including initial resume review, phone screen, and final interview with a senior staff member.
- Candidates must be available to participate in the hiring cycle from October through December, with interviews in January and decisions in February.
