Job Description
The Pilot Operations Manager oversees the smooth operation and management of Dioxycle's pilot projects, ensuring safety, resource availability, and adherence to experimental plans while coordinating internal teams and external vendors during the company's transition from R&D to industrial piloting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure pilot spaces are well-stocked, equipped, and maintained
- Oversee smooth operation of all pilot runs according to experimental plans
- Collaborate with engineering team for pilot run analysis
- Work with Health Safety Manager to ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all sites
- Manage internal and external resources to prevent operational bottlenecks and ensure budget adherence
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage external vendors and contractors, ensuring budget compliance
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in pilot operations or a related field.
- Ability to ensure that all pilot spaces are well-stocked, equipped, and maintained.
- Experience in ensuring that each pilot runs smoothly according to the experimental plan defined by the engineering team.
- Ability to work closely with the engineering team for analysis of pilot runs.
- Ability to work closely with the Health Safety Manager to ensure full safety on all sites and compliance with all relevant health safety regulations.
- Proven experience in ensuring that necessary resources and team members, both internal and external, are available to prevent bottlenecks in pilot run operations.
- Experience in managing budgets and ensuring budget compliance for pilot operations.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and contributing to the writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and contractors effectively.
