The Senior Technician Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing lab-scale and industrial-scale electrolyzer equipment, conducting chemical analyses, and supporting laboratory and facility operations to advance the company's carbon utilization technology.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain lab-scale and industrial-scale electrolyzer equipment
Assemble, disassemble, and test experimental electrolyzer stacks to optimize performance
Perform chemical analyses such as titration and NMR in laboratory settings
Maintain supplies inventory and organize procurement of materials
Contribute to building operations including waste management, repairs, inspections, and maintenance
Enhance quality control and testing procedures
Foster a culture of safety within the laboratory and operational environments
Requirements
Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing lab-scale and industrial-scale equipment, including experimental electrolyzer stacks
Ability to contribute to the optimization of experimental electrolyzer stacks through assembly, disassembly operations, and test bench maintenance
Proficiency in carrying out experimental laboratory tasks such as chemical analyses, including titration or NMR
Experience maintaining supplies inventory and organizing orders
Ability to contribute to general building operations, including chemical waste management, general repairs, inspections, and maintenance
Demonstrated commitment to improving quality control and testing processes
Ability to actively foster a culture of safety in laboratory and operational environments
Relevant technical skills and experience aligned with operating complex chemical and mechanical equipment
Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on laboratory and industrial equipment
