Job Description
A full-time contract role for a Technical Writer responsible for creating, standardizing, and maintaining operational documentation for an advanced manufacturing facility specializing in diamond wafer production, requiring close collaboration with technical experts and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, standardize, and maintain operational documentation for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with technical experts to capture complex maintenance and production procedures
- Ensure procedural clarity and compliance across all documentation
Requirements
- The candidate must be a motivated and highly detail-oriented individual.
- The candidate must have the ability to rapidly build, standardize, and maintain critical operational documentation for an advanced manufacturing facility.
- The role requires close collaboration with technical experts to capture complex maintenance and production processes, ensuring procedural clarity and compliance across all documentation.
- The position requires on-site presence at the Fremont location.
- The candidate must be able to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- The candidate must be able to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- The candidate must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- The candidate must be able to operate in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including participating in E-Verify and completing Form I-9 to confirm authorization to work in the U.S.
