Job Description
The Senior Principal Metrology Engineer will lead metrology initiatives, develop advanced characterization techniques, and improve quality and process control for diamond wafer manufacturing, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure precision and compliance with high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead metrology initiatives to develop advanced characterization techniques for single crystal diamond technology.
- Establish and improve measurement methodologies to ensure quality, precision, and process control.
- Collaborate with R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance metrology capabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform failure analysis and data analysis within a semiconductor-like environment to support quality and process improvements.
Requirements
- Expertise in advanced characterization techniques, failure analysis, and data analysis within a semiconductor-like environment.
- Experience leading metrology initiatives and developing advanced measurement and characterization methodologies.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including R D, process engineering, and manufacturing to establish robust measurement methodologies and improve metrology capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvement in quality and process control through metrology initiatives.
- Proficiency in ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards related to metrology and measurement processes.
- Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Physical ability to drive or use foot controls as needed.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
