Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of automation systems, robotics, and precision equipment for handling and processing semiconductor-grade diamonds in a cutting-edge foundry, integrating mechanical, electrical, and control engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of automation systems for handling, processing, and characterizing semiconductor-grade diamonds.
- Design and develop semiconductor equipment, robotics, motion control systems, and computer vision technologies for precise operations.
- Apply expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering to build and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- An experienced and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor equipment design and build.
- Deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment design and build.
- A solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering.
- Ability to lead the development of automation systems for handling, processing, and characterizing semiconductor-grade diamonds in a foundry environment.
- Experience in the design and integration of semiconductor equipment, robotics, motion control systems, and computer vision technologies for highly precise operations.
- Use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
