The Equipment Ops Technician is responsible for cleaning, building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plasma reactors in a manufacturing plant focused on producing diamond wafers, working overnight shifts to ensure maximum equipment productivity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Clean parts and equipment used in plasma reactors
Build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot plasma reactors
Collaborate with process engineers and maintenance technicians to improve equipment performance
Troubleshoot equipment problems on the production line
Requirements
Experience focusing on cleaning parts of industrial equipment, with additional responsibilities including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plasma reactors.
Ability to work the graveyard shift from 6 pm to 6 am.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Physical capability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb a 20-foot ladder and properly use fall protection equipment.
Physical requirements may include tasks that require the use of ladders or stairs, driving or foot controls.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S., confirmed through participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
