Job Description
A senior mechanical design engineer responsible for leading the design and development of Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and systems used in diamond wafer manufacturing, supporting high-visibility R&D projects within the company's innovative tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and systems used in diamond growth and manufacturing
- Lead multiple high-visibility R&D projects within the Reactor Development Group
- Own the mechanical design and development of reactor systems and related equipment
Requirements
- Experience leading multiple projects and teams with a strong track record of success in mechanical design engineering.
- Experience designing and developing Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and other systems used in the growth and manufacture of diamond.
- Highly experienced and innovative mechanical design engineer capable of leading high-visibility R D projects within the company's Reactor Development Group.
- Ability to serve as a primary owner for the design and development of reactor equipment and related systems.
- Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Physical capability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Physical ability to use ladders or stairs when required for tasks.
- Physical ability to drive or use foot controls when required for tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
