Job Description
A Shift Supervisor at Diamond Foundry Inc. oversees daily manufacturing operations of diamond wafers, leads and mentors a team of technicians, ensures safety and quality standards are met, and drives continuous improvement initiatives in a high-tech, environmentally sustainable production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations of diamond wafer manufacturing
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Production Technicians
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by applying 5S principles
Requirements
- Proven technician who has demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to the company's values.
- Experience in overseeing daily production operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Production Technicians.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach to work and leadership.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment by effectively implementing 5S principles.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
