Job Description
A Production Technician at Diamond Foundry is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring safety and production standards are met in the high-precision production of diamond wafers, primarily working the graveyard shift in a fast-growing, environmentally sustainable tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment to manufacture diamond wafers
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure standards are met
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Operate production equipment accurately and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure high-quality products are produced.
- Adhere to all safety and production standards, including using appropriate PPE and following safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Work the Graveyard shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, with a 12.5 shift differential.
- Be physically capable of sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Possess computer literacy to operate relevant manufacturing and quality control systems.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to manufacturing tasks.
- Be detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality products.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (implied, as specific educational requirements are not explicitly stated but are standard for manufacturing roles).
- Be authorized to work in the U.S., with employment verification through E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
