A Power Electronic Test Engineer responsible for high-voltage component and system-level testing, designing test circuits, analyzing data, and managing test programs to improve characterization and production processes in a cutting-edge diamond wafer manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities
Own and perform high-voltage component and system-level testing.
Design test circuits and develop test programs and hardware.
Analyze test data to evaluate component and system performance.
Drive continuous improvement in characterization and production testing processes.
Requirements
Be the technical owner for all high-voltage component and system-level testing, driving continuous improvement for both characterization and production.
Lead the design of test circuits for power electronic components and systems.
Analyze data related to high-voltage component and system testing.
Manage the development and maintenance of test programs and hardware for power electronics testing.
Possess a hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks.
Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and customers.
Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures during work.
Be able to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
