A People Operations Generalist responsible for supporting HR functions such as benefits, compliance, and employee relations across multiple U.S. sites in a fast-paced, startup environment, while fostering a supportive and people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, and compensation.
Support the onboarding, offboarding, and employee inquiries related to HR programs.
Ensure HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy.
Foster a supportive, people-first culture across multiple U.S. sites.
Requirements
Experience supporting an expanding workforce across multiple U.S. sites in a People Operations or HR Generalist role.
Ability to serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
Experience ensuring HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy.
Ability to foster a supportive, people-first culture within a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
Experience supporting or managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time off programs.
Ability to communicate and coordinate benefits enrollment, including benefits beginning as early as the first day of employment, with medical and vision coverage retroactive to the start date, and dental and voluntary benefits effective upon enrollment completion.
Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance related to employment and HR practices in the U.S.
Knowledge of physical requirements and safety policies for manufacturing and engineering departments, including use of PPE, and performing tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, grasping, reaching, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, fine finger manipulation, repetitive motions, and the use of ladders, stairs, driving, or foot controls.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
