Job Description

A People Operations Generalist at Diamond Foundry Inc. supports the company's HR functions by managing benefits, compliance, and employee relations across multiple U.S. sites, fostering a supportive and compliant, people-first culture in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and HR inquiries
  • Support the implementation and management of employee benefit programs
  • Ensure HR programs are compliant, competitive, and aligned with company strategy
  • Foster a supportive, people-first culture across multiple U.S. sites

Requirements

  • Support the expanding workforce across multiple U.S. sites as a People Operations Generalist, serving as a trusted partner to employees and managers in guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
  • Ensure that HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy, while fostering a supportive, people-first culture.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats across the People function.
  • Support employee benefit programs including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time off, with benefits beginning as early as the first day of employment.
  • Assist with the enrollment process for medical, vision, dental, and voluntary benefits, ensuring coverage is retroactive to the start date where applicable.
  • Operate in full compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including adherence to legal and regulatory standards in manufacturing and engineering departments.
  • Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Perform physical tasks which may include sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
  • Use ladders or stairs as required for certain tasks.
  • Drive or operate foot controls as needed for specific tasks.
  • Lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Complete all required documentation and administrative tasks related to HR functions.
  • Operate in accordance with E-Verify procedures, including providing Form I-9 information to confirm employment eligibility in the U.S., and participate in resolving any employment authorization issues.
