The Microwave Plasma Scientist will apply physics and engineering principles to design new equipment for diamond growth, supporting the company's mission to produce single-crystal diamond wafers for advanced tech industries such as AI, electric vehicles, and wireless communication.

Apply physics and engineering principles to design new equipment for diamond growth
Utilize prior experience with semiconductor equipment or plasma systems to support equipment development
Solve thermal limitations affecting diamond wafer production
Requirements
Strong problem solving skills that will apply physics and engineering principles in the design of new equipment used for diamond growth.
Prior experience with semiconductor equipment design or experience with plasma systems.
Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Ability to use ladders or stairs as required for certain tasks.
Ability to drive or use foot controls as required for certain tasks.
Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
