Job Description
The G L Accounting Manager at Diamond Foundry Inc. will oversee the company's accounting functions, manage operational expenses, ensure compliance with internal controls, lead financial reporting, and mentor a team of accounting professionals in a fast-growing, innovative diamond manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and improve operational expenditure (OPEX) processes and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting staff.
Requirements
- Must have experience and be detail-oriented in overseeing the accounting function, including managing OPEX operations, improving processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Must have experience leading and mentoring a team of at least 3 US-based employees.
- Must have the ability to manage and oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Must have the ability to manage financial reporting processes effectively.
- Must be able to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures in manufacturing and engineering environments.
- Must be able to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., with employer participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
