Job Description
The General Counsel at Diamond Foundry Inc. will serve as the primary legal advisor, managing compliance, contracts, and global expansion efforts to support the company's innovative diamond wafer manufacturing technology and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal input on compliance, vendor contracts, and global expansion matters
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and support business flexibility
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations across manufacturing and engineering departments
Requirements
- The candidate must be a seasoned General Counsel responsible for matters including compliance, vendor contracts, and global expansions.
- The candidate must be able to develop creative legal strategies to address legal issues while allowing for business flexibility.
- The candidate must be able to provide legal input and risk mitigation advice to the company's global leaders.
- The candidate must have experience or expertise in legal compliance relevant to manufacturing and engineering departments.
- The candidate must be able to operate in full compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
- The candidate must be able to support and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory compliance standards within manufacturing and engineering departments.
- The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- The candidate must be able to use ladders or stairs when required for tasks.
- The candidate must be able to drive or use foot controls when required for tasks.
- The candidate must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
