Job Description
The Environmental and Permitting Manager will oversee environmental diligence, permit processing, and pre-construction permit implementation for large renewable energy projects, including wind and solar, while collaborating across various disciplines within the company.
Responsibilities
- •Assist with environmental diligence for renewable energy projects
- •Process and acquire discretionary permits
- •Implement pre-construction permits for gigawatt-scale projects
- •Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including M&A, Development, and Engineering
Requirements
- •Candidates must be located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs: SF Bay Area and San Diego, CA; NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Austin, TX; Calgary, AB; and Toronto, ON.
- •The Environmental and Permitting Manager will be responsible for assisting with environmental diligence, discretionary permit processing and acquisition, and pre-construction permit implementation for gigawatt-scale greenfield and M&A renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV, and BESS in the Great Plains, South Central Region, and the Pacific Northwest.
- •Candidates must not have current enforceable non-compete restrictions that would hinder their employment with Intersect Power.
