Job Description
The Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of infrastructure and utility systems in a high-tech diamond manufacturing facility, managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure continuous, efficient operations and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep, repair, and expansion of facility infrastructure
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Optimize equipment utilization to meet production goals and maintain 100% facility uptime
- Lead projects related to process cooling water, UPS, HVAC, ultra-high-purity gas distribution, clean room, and electrical infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience in overseeing facility infrastructure, utility systems, and critical support projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians responsible for facility upkeep, repair, and new additions.
- Ensuring equipment reliability and performance to meet production goals and achieve 100% facilities uptime.
- Experience managing projects related to process cooling water systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), HVAC systems, ultra-high-purity gas distribution, clean room environments, and electrical infrastructure.
- Proven ability to optimize equipment utilization to support high-tech manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of maintaining uninterrupted, efficient, and high-tech manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously in a technical environment.
- Relevant experience in a clean room or semiconductor/fabrication facility environment is preferred (implied by the nature of operations).
