Job Description

The Director of Talent at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition and retention strategies to support the company's growth, focusing on securing top engineering and technical expertise while enhancing existing processes and defining the company's talent vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the entire talent acquisition and retention lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement processes to attract and secure top engineering and technical talent.
  • Define and execute the company's talent vision and strategic talent initiatives.
  • Scale talent acquisition efforts to support company growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Own the entire talent acquisition and retention lifecycle, including owning and improving existing processes and defining the talent vision for the company.
  • Secure and attract world-class engineering and specialized technical expertise.
  • Be strategic in talent planning while also being hands-on in managing talent acquisition and retention activities.
  • Possess the ability to take existing talent processes to the next level and develop innovative talent strategies.
  • Demonstrate experience in scaling talent acquisition efforts to support company growth and expansion.
  • Have a strong understanding of the technical and engineering talent landscape relevant to the company's industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws related to employment and hiring practices.
  • Adhere to safety policies, practices, and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE in manufacturing and engineering environments.
  • Be capable of performing physical tasks including sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
  • Perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs.
  • Perform tasks that may require driving or the use of foot controls.
  • Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
