Job Description
The Senior Quantitative Developer at Cypress Creek Renewables is responsible for developing analytics tools, dashboards, and models to optimize asset performance, manage risk, and support data-driven decision-making across the company's solar and storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of analytics tools, dashboards, and models to support portfolio risk measurement and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on data ingestion, model development, and analytics consumption
- Advance data infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics applications to optimize asset performance and support scaling
- Build predictive modeling libraries in partnership with data scientists and analysts for commercial decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards and provide insights to facilitate strategic and operational decisions
- Support the implementation of a future ETRM solution for origination and portfolio management
- Serve as the commercial data infrastructure expert, aiding in analytics platform development
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience building data-driven software in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Expertise in programming languages and quantitative applications including Python and comparable analytics programming languages
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Dash or comparable tools
- Experience with AWS Cloud Platform services including EKS, EC2, S3, Secrets Manager, ArgoCD, and Grafana
- Development experience in data pipelines, including batched and streaming ingestion, APIs, connectors, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes (Snowflake, S3, Postgres), and ETLs
- Experience with Data Orchestration and Containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Experience devising software solutions for business needs with a strong understanding of the analytics ecosystem and product offerings
- Deep understanding of data engineering principles and data lifecycle management including ingesting, storing, transforming, monitoring, and serving data
- Aptitude for designing infrastructure, data products, and tools for data scientists
Benefits & Perks
Compensation: 140,000-170,000 base plus bonus and benefits package
Work schedule: Hybrid schedule of 3 days in office, 2 days remote
