Job Description
The role involves supporting strategic growth initiatives through financial modeling, due diligence, and cross-functional coordination within a renewable energy company, with a focus on solar and storage projects. The position requires analyzing investment opportunities, preparing presentation materials, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate company growth and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses for strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and capital raises
- Prepare materials to communicate investment theses, key value drivers, sensitivity analyses, and market dynamics
- Create and improve analytical tools to enhance financial models and streamline processes
- Maintain databases related to strategic opportunities and market intelligence
- Coordinate cross-functionally with subject matter experts and external consultants to support due diligence and project assessments
- Support the presentation of proposed opportunities to the CCR Executive Team and Investment Committee
Requirements
- A BA or BS degree is required; MBA or other relevant graduate degrees are welcome.
- At least 2 years of finance experience is required, ideally with financial modeling related to renewable energy and/or gas-fired generation in the renewable energy and/or gas industry.
- Experience in investment banking, principal investing, and/or corporate M&A is strongly preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with project debt and tax equity structures is a plus.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills are required.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability is required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment are required.
- Successful completion of an Excel-based modeling test will be required.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $120,000-$140,000 plus bonus and benefits
