Job Description
The Business Operations Analyst supports Cypress Creek Renewables by analyzing operational and financial data to drive margin improvements, optimize key metrics, and provide insights for decision-making within the solar energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop analytical models to support decision-making and drive improvements in operational metrics and KPIs.
- Run periodic operational reports to validate data integrity and analyze site-level financial and operational data.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to create and automate decision-useful reports.
- Assist in creating and updating business forecasts and analyzing results against forecasts.
- Use data visualization tools to present key metrics and insights for reports and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, data science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience
- Experience in the energy industry preferred, but not required
- Strong Excel skills with exposure to large data sets and tools such as SQL, Power Query, Python, R, Tableau, etc.
- Meticulous organization and critical thinking skills
- A strong work ethic and strict attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and problem solve
- Strong Microsoft Office skillset
- Highly driven and hard working with high standards for themselves and others
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to go into the Durham office 3 times per week on a hybrid schedule
