Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Scheduler supports the maintenance team by planning and scheduling all equipment, building, and property maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks, while coordinating with various departments and contractors in a modern, climate-controlled facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule all scheduled and unscheduled equipment, building, and property maintenance activities.
- Develop job plans for work requests and notifications, optimizing labor and task durations.
- Support preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance scheduling disciplines.
- Act as primary scheduler for annual facility inspections.
- Coordinate and liaise with various departments, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
- Interact on the floor and at job locations during maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities for equipment, building, and property requirements, including scheduled and unscheduled work.
- Proficiency in using disciplines of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance scheduling.
- Ability to develop job plans for work requests and notifications, maximizing available labor and ensuring accurate task durations.
- Experience acting as a liaison between departments, maintenance personnel, and contractors, including interacting on the floor and at job locations during the duty day.
- Ability to support departmental disciplines related to maintenance scheduling.
- Experience in scheduling annual facility inspections.
- Ability to support and coordinate maintenance activities in a climate-controlled and modern facility environment.
