The Customer Program Manager oversees the evaluation, repair, and overhaul of gas turbine engine components, ensuring proper work scope development, communication across departments, and timely delivery while maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and communicate shipping plans and schedules
Review component condition, develop repair work scope, and determine ship date
Interpret inspection findings and create technical repair reports
Communicate work scopes across all company levels
Manage and review delivery metrics and adjust plans as needed
Coordinate with departments to ensure accurate labor and material planning
Monitor and improve repair processes for efficiency and quality
Handle quality exceptions and oversee rework processes
Utilize software to track and verify job progress and metrics
Support weekend operations as required
Requirements
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting, or relevant industry.
A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Exposure to directing projects, processes, or repairs.
Experience in understanding and following verbal and written instructions accurately, including the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and work scope instructions.
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Above average knowledge of computers and standard software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in interpreting and applying basic shop math and the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers and calipers.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Follow general shop safety procedures including the occasional use of safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hearing protection.
Ability to stand and/or sit for portions of the shift.
Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.
Pre-employment testing requirements that may include fitness for duty testing and a vision exam.
Weekend support can be required once a month for 2-4 hours.
