Job Description
This is a general application for skilled technicians interested in supporting the development and construction of fusion energy technology at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, with roles focused on building, supporting, and developing superconducting magnets and related systems in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and support superconducting magnets integral to fusion technology
- Perform hands-on technical tasks related to assembly, maintenance, and testing of fusion components
- Collaborate with team members to ensure proper functioning and integration of fusion system parts
Requirements
- Experience as a technician who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
- Ability to develop, build, and support superconducting magnets or similar technical components.
- Willingness to submit a general application for future consideration of technician roles such as Production Technician, R D Technician, Assembly Specialist, Fiber Optic Specialist, RF Technician, or Commissioning Technician.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, collectively, Export Control Laws, as a condition of employment.
