Job Description
The Solar Groundman is responsible for vegetation maintenance, groundskeeping, and supporting routine electrical and equipment tasks at solar power sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vegetation maintenance and abatement at solar sites
- Maintain walkways, parking lots, and solar equipment by removing snow and ice
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair of vegetation management equipment
- Use hand tools and gas-powered tools to mow, rake, and prepare grounds for seasonal changes
- Assist solar technicians with routine and preventative electrical and PV module tasks
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
- Clear understanding of safe workplace practices and procedures.
- Must have the ability to travel to and from solar sites and work on-call during off-shift hours.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Salary range of $46,000 to $56,000 USD
Eligible to earn an annual cash bonus based on personal and company performance
