The Senior Associate, EPC Procurement, is responsible for leading the bidding, negotiation, and contract management processes for wind EPC projects, supporting project development, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring strategic and cost-effective vendor selection and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead competitive bid processes and develop vendor award recommendations for EPC contracts.
Conduct contract negotiations and develop strategies to mitigate cost and schedule risks.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to advance vendor selection, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
Review and analyze EPC bids, contractor performance, and market intelligence to inform procurement decisions.
Support the development and implementation of EPC procurement strategies and policies.
Manage relationships with EPC partners and ensure effective contract management and progress tracking.
Gather and analyze market intelligence on industry trends, tariffs, and legislative impacts affecting EPC projects.
Coordinate with engineering teams to gather specifications, scopes of work, and standards for wind projects.
Assist in project financing by coordinating inputs from EPC contractors and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field
A minimum of four years experience with EPC contracting and negotiations or related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of contract language and negotiation
Ability to travel up to 10%
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and document control
