The Manager, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the financial performance, operational compliance, and strategic development of utility-scale wind and solar assets, aiming to maximize asset value and support growth initiatives within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the P&L and cash position for all assets in the portfolio
Review operational performance and financial variance reports, and address variances
Develop and update project budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Perform financial analyses, project evaluations, and due diligence for asset optimization and revenue recovery
Support major projects, divestitures, capital investments, and refinancing activities
Negotiate and amend project agreements to improve asset performance and mitigate risks
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements
Serve as primary contact with authorities and manage renewable energy credit obligations
Monitor and report on energy production and guaranteed output status
Support development of information-sharing platforms and facilitate project transition into operations
Requirements
Five years of energy industry experience in project development, project administration, business administration, project management, asset management, contract administration, deal execution, project finance, or other commercial roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong business and financial savvy with the ability to support a high-performance organization that will deliver operational excellence and meet or exceed financial targets.
Ability to perform well under pressure on teams in a demanding environment, and occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Ability to think creatively, manage competing priorities, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Salary Range: 120,000 - 160,000 USD
