Job Description
The Asset Management Intern will support project evaluations, financial analysis, and portfolio performance monitoring for utility-scale wind and solar energy projects, gaining hands-on experience in renewable energy asset management and investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project evaluations, contract reviews, and due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and provide P&L analysis of operating assets.
- Assist in performing financial analyses, project evaluations, and due diligence for plant optimization and capital investments.
- Create and manage tools to monitor and forecast asset financial performance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate rising senior or recent graduate in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Availability to participate in a 10-week Summer Internship Program beginning on June 1, 2026, and ending on August 7, 2026.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based in the San Diego office, with in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in renewable energy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including willingness to ask questions, listen to colleagues, and contribute ideas.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable, showing up, being present, and eager to engage in the workday.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and speak up when tasks are completed or additional work is available.
